Hmm..so I started and almost finished my current slayer task of 107 Deserrt Strykewryns. Took a while to find, but when i found them, they weren't too hard to slay.
Got a clue, with crappy rewards, and sold them for some pocket change.
Just spent 7 million gold for my herblore skill, which would put me at 75 once I am done with it (71 now). I didn't have enough gold after to buy all the secondary ingredients,, so i'll have to sell the completed pots for them to finish it up. I'll see how much of an actual loss I made from these 4 levels. I should get maybe 2 levels tonight before I sleep and call it a night.

Random skills.
Another day with a slow day of Runescape. I went out after work to play tennis with a coworker and got schooled bad.. oh well, it was good fun and exercise.
I got 2 summoning levels when I got back, making my summon level 78, and an agility level to level 62.
My total level now sits at 1980. I think I might level my herblore a little bit to get my total level closer to 2000.

Questless..
So today on Runescape, I did no quests!! ..It was one of those days when I didn't feel like questing and just felt like killing monsters. I resorted to training slayer instead.
First task was 42 iron dragons. Killed them all with no real issues. (lag was the major one). Got a clue scroll towards the end. Nothing real exciting, just Bandit Camp Scrolls which sold nicely. (350k) or so.
Second task ended up being 167 hellhounds (which Chris had almost predricted 100% correct...he predicted 185 or so Hellhounds). At the 90th kill mark, I got a clue scroll. Nothing special again, just more Bandit Camp Scrolls, which sold nicely again for another 400k.
Also upon checking my kingdom in Miscellania, I got seeds, logs, and jewellery which totaled to a nice 1.5mil.
Tears of Guthix was nice to me as I got 123 tears. The tears boosted my Dungeoneering a level, which is now level 49 (and 4k left from level 50 Dungeoneering!!).
Sadly, upon getting the above rewards, I just bought 14k gold ores to get 5 smithing levels. I just got a smithing level, which is now level 76.
That sums up a day of Runescape for me tonight.
-Mike
I leave you all with a song before I sleep..the new "Friday" song. Well, a younger girl with a song called "Girl Swag" by Madison Bray.

Mountain Daughter Quest...
This was a easy quest...but it took too long as there was lots of running back and forth in this one. Ended up using half a slayer ring to teleport between Relleka and Mountain Camp.
The reward was mediocre...1k attack xp and 2k prayer xp. The prayer experience is always great, even if it's in small amounts. (it is 2k xp less in bones I had to buy).

Epic video of TMNT:
This video was made by Dorkly from YouTube. It is a clip he made with the TMNT. Enjoy.
Forgiveness of a Chaos Dwarf...
...was by far one of the more frustrating quests of recent. The quest continues based on the previous Dwarf quests. The storyline for the quest was very well thought out and the complexity was really hard.
It was frustrating at times as my hunter level at the time of start, was only level 55, and made it really hard to complete the quest. The hunter part required level 61 hunter. I tried to run from mobilising armies to Oo'long or so to get a hunter boost, but it only boosted to 62. By time I ran back, i didn't have a high enough hunter.
I took a break from this quest to get 56 Hunter. After that, the quest flew again. I liked how they incorporated the similar puzzles as the prior quest and although there was no fighting in this subplot, the story continued to be excellent and kept me interested. I cannot wait to complete the final installment of this quest on a later date.
The reward totaled to about 90k experience, and the 30k hunter XP helped me get another hunter level, to 57 now.
I will now turn my attention to one of the Fremnik quests, Mountain Daughter, and call it a night.

More Quests..
Ok last night before I went to bed, I did The Tale of the Muspah.. fairly complicated part at the beginning with the burning fire rafts, but after that it was pretty straight forward. The quest alone took about 40 minutes.
Just did Forgettable tale of the Dwarf.. very long idling quest with waiting for hops to be planted and ale to be matured. The puzzles in the mines were fun and the ending scene was pretty cool. Decent reward.. 5k farming xp..can't go wrong there.

More quests bites the dust...
Finished 2 quests tonight so far:
The great brain robbery and grim tales. Both were semi long quests and the bosses were both hard. They prevented full use of prayer and the boss in grim tales almost killed me.
Both took about a hour long to complete.

Pissed
So today I logged on to get a few more hunter levels. I ended up getting up to level 54, but before I could get the last one of my night, some fuck head decides to come on the map and sets up traps on my trees, distrupting my tree traps. After he refused to leave after a couple polite messages and after he accused me as a hacker, i got pissed and left.
After changing worlds, i got a hunter level and currently leveling slayer.
After a few Turoths, it dropped a Torstol seed, so I am not feeling that pissed no more. I am contemplating a quest after this task, but I am not sure which yet. Will let you guys know what I end up doing.
Argh...internet seems to be laggy! big storm on the way to Toronto..so I suppose that's a reason why.
So after watching the news for the past couple hours and relaxing a bit, I ended up finishing a Hard Treasure Trail which was received earlier from my Turoth task (one of the last few kills before I finished the task). Nothing really interesting rewards from this one...just some "chump" change which I received from selling Purple Sweets and some assorted rune armor (legs and helm).
Off to bed as work awaits for me in the morning.

Continued quests
Yesterday, I forgot to mention, for unlocking more than 500 songs, I can now use the Air Guitar emote.
Currently doing As A First Resort... so far so smooth but this puzzle part of the quest is a pain in the ass!

It was too bad I had already burned my free "quest peek" from the Runescape homepage for the Evil Dave Spice part of the Recipe for Disaster quest. Anyways, I had finished that part...finally after a while doing the puzzles.
After more running around the town of Oo'long or whatever it was called, and after spending a good 10-15 minutes capturing the platypuses, I got my reward which consisted of 10k Hunter XP and the ability to use the spas whenever. Also I got the privilege to charter to this town and some other small rewards. I can also get a pet platypus.
The 10k hunter XP gave me my hunter level, which is now 51.
Troll Romance was a easy and fast quest..took about 20 minutes to complete. Boss was easy with Protect from Melee as he only used ranged a couple times, but nothing too difficult. Gems were nice with the free agility XP.

So in the past couple days, I have been doing a series of quests. I think I may take a break from leveling slayer to clear up whatever quests I can complete.
Recipe for Disaster was one of the more complex quests I have did. After obtaining the Monkey Gree Gree, the rest of the Ape Atoll portion was easy. The bosses were hard only because in the boss fights, no prayer could be used. The only difficult boss was the third one as I had to use fire bolt to kill it. The boss before the culimancer was hard because it was a replica of Dagonath's boss and I had to switch weapons based on the colours.
Eadger's Ruse was pretty annoying, only cause of the running around, but the reward was worth it. I can now teleport to Trollhiem.
Royal Trouble was a fun quest, once again full of running...and the boss was fairly easy.
Fremnik Isles is now done. The fight up to the boss was a handful as the multicombat area was ranged and melee both hitting equally hard. The free Prayer and Str pots and food helped out big. The boss was fairly easy with Protect from Range.
In between, I checked my Miscellania Kingdom for my free resources and collected my nests. Also, I did Tears of Guthix last night and came short of a dungeon level.
I did get an agility level out of all this and a few nice Quest Points.
Finished Devious Minds. Nice short quest fora quest point. However, I lost my Large Runecrafting Pouch and will need to obtain another one!...blah.

Introduction
Hi All,
For those that don't know me, my name is Mike (A.K.A F ried R ice), and this is my blog. I created this blog out of pure randomness after I found out my girlfriend and one of my close highschool friends had created a blog.
This blog is being made to diary my Runescape adventures. Runescape is a MMORPG which has been out for a while now and I have been playing since Runescape Classic was out. Mind you, I have been playing on and off, with majority of the gaming being back in highschool.
Currently, on Runescape, I am trying to prepare myself for the quest, Recipe for Disaster. I previously was working on Slayer, but I took a break.
I have recollected my Monkey Speak Amulet and my Monkey Gree Gree thing. Now I need to obtain a Ninja Monkey and a Ghost Monkey Gree Gree. This will probably take up most of my time tonight and will be able to finish this quest this weekend. Tune in for details!
Mike
- Update: I got the bones for my Gree Gree Things.
- Update: Got both my Gree Gree thingys.
- I just realized I need to get one more Gree Gree Thingy.
