Hard Seers Tasks and other miscellanious..

Couple nights ago I ended up doing all the hard tasks for Seers. It was worth it somewhat. I was more interested in the XP lamp of 10,000 XP, which I had used on Agility again. Apparently the coal trucks will now hold 196 coal and the head thing will yield more % cutting maples in seers. Also, I changed my Seers teleport spot to the middle of Seers instead of the Camelot castle, which I will probably change cause that was stupid. The teleport spot is between the anvil building and the bar.

I also focused a bit on thieving. No real reason but boredom. I had nothing else to do so I went around pick pocketing Ardougne Knights, Guards, and Thief Guild trainers. Didn't get a level, but I did cut the experience to level to about 23k left.

I also completed a Hard Treasure Trail last night after I finished my homework assignment for school. The clue came from a Greater Demon (Slayer task) about 20 kills in. Also, 2 kills in, I received a Rune Full Helm. I ended up High Alching it for a modest 25k gold. Upon clue completion, I received a Guthix Plateskirt. Surprisingly, it was only worth about 45k gold, but hey, it was better than nothing. The total from that clue came out to about 110k gold.

As for tonight goes, I checked my Miscellania Kingdom and came out with a nice 1.1 million gold profit - over 4k Maple logs, 2.8k coal ore, random gems, 44 nests in total (including seeds - 1 yew seed), and another Zamorak Bird egg.

I just remembered to complete the Tears of Guthix minigame. I ended up receiving 125 tears from the minigame which totaled to 7495 XP to my lowest skill, Dungeoneering.

I finished 90% of the quest Rocking Out. This is one of the longer quests I had have to done. The complexity isn't hard, just lots of running around. The official RuneWiki quest has this as master and long. I think it should be Master, long, and very annoying! I will finish the rest of the quest tomorrow and post my rewards from it.

Gemazing

Okay so I just made that up...but if you saw the gems I have in my bank, you would so sympathize with me. So Mike decided he wanted to 'cut' gems to get crafting experience....the lazy easy way. I on the other hand, spend untold amounts of money buying all those cut gems from him to make 'real' things with. Which will end up being Sapphire necklaces (games necklaces when enchanted), Emerald Rings (Dueling ring when enchanted), and ruby amulets (amulet of strength when enchanted).
...
So I need to first make the item, then enchant it...individually, like...clicking...1000's of pieces of jewelery individually (so not enthused, can you tell?). To eventually sell it at a small profit. In any event, here is my bank below, this is just the gem tab...you can see the amount of gems I have to do....crazy eh?
So before I started working on that again tonight (as you can see I've already done a lot, aside from the few hundred games necklaces and 1000 strength amulets I already sold). I fletched 1000 yew longs, which netted me god knows how much exp, I wasn't keeping track. I also cashed in my kingdom again for more maple logs, coal, nests and gems. Nests didn't give me anything spectacular though they did give me 3 maple seeeds and a papaya seed which totalled with the nests, coal and maple logs from the last week, I made 650k, not bad for a kingdom I don't actually have to run.
...
Oh and I also got an agility level tonight, I was 500 exp from lvl, but too lazy to go get it, so I got a random event and used the exp lamp to go towards agil. 58 agil now!

Haven't done a lot

Well I haven't done much the last couple days on runescape. I was too busy walking 6km on Sunday and then had work yesterday and today....spent some time with a friend over coffee as well yesterday.
...
What I did accomplish though was a clue. Crappy reward....
I also somehow managed to get a fletching level, don't know how that happened, 84 fletching now. Highest level skill (next highest is Fishing 82). So aside from that haven't done a lot.
...
Trying to decide what to do tomorrow...may try to get me a decent defender (dagger 'shield' thing)...or fletch...or craft....or kill shit...haven't decided yet.

Seers Medium Tasks and Quests

So I ended up completing the entire Seers Medium Tasks and claimed my reward: An upgraded Seers Hat and a 5,000 XP lamp which I used on Agility!

Here is a song to celebrate with:

So I ended up doing Enakhra's Lament. Excellent medium length quest and didn't take much effort. 2 QP, small random XP and a camulet for me to talk to camels.

I am not sure what else to do right now, besides complete my homework assignment for one of my 2 CIP Courses that I am taking... Perhaps I will go back to questing. Stay tuned for details..... :)

Tasks...

Today I finished up all the Ardougne Hard tasks and got my Ardougne Cape 3 for its awesome +6 prayer bonus. The 28k XP lamp went towards my prayer, which leveled it to 73.

Also, finished up Seers Easy tasks. The XP lamp of 1k went into Agility.

Blonde Runescape Adventures

Hey All
...
I'm the aforementioned (in one of his posts anyway) girlfriend of Mike, He's let me post...so now you all get to see the perspective of the Blonde, mwhahahaha
...
So on Runescape (rs) this is me: The left is me with my new favourite outfit in game, it's the Saxxon outfit, which is one of the loyalty program outfits. The right is of me with no extra clothes on, aka the skanky outfit...apparently.
Anyway so on rs today I did a very long quest with Mike. It's called Lunar Diplomacy. it wasn't particularily difficult, it was just long took about 3 hours to finish!! Before we did that though I did Animal Magnetism, which was a long time coming, it took way longer then the 'short' length it was given on the help site.
...
So now I'm stuck not sure what to do. I'm going to do the medium clue I have, and after that I'm not sure. May go craft Astral runes, since I did the quest to allow me to do that (I loathe runecrafting), or I may craft some more, since I have about 8000 gems to do, thanks to Mike. I need to enchant every single one of them, 1 by 1 to sell them at a profit, which sucks. I may also do Rag and Bone man quest to get prayer experience...not sure yet.
...
We shall see
Until later
Summer Dawn

Today

So the past couple nights I haven't done much besides leveling my crafting. In the start, I had 75 crafting. For some odd and random reason, I had the urge to level it a bit higher. The only problem is that it is a very expensive skill.

I ended up having to borrow money from my friend Mune to help achieve this goal. So I ended up buying around 13-14k gems which mostly were rubies and sapphires. I just finished cutting them all this morning, and I have achieved level 80 crafting.

I haven't decided if I am stopping here at 80, or if i should go on further. On a side note, I have a fully grown Zamorak Hawk now. =]

Me and my girlfriend both tackled one of the most complex, annoying, longest quests of my Runescape Career.. Lunar Diplomacy..it was "fun"..but took 4 and a half hours!!!!!!

After doing that quest, I finished my current slayer task of 40 Red Dragons. I got a clue scroll on my last kill, and was rewarded with a Saradomin Platebody. By selling this, I was able to pay Mune back and clear myself from the loan. I am currently still leveling slayer and rebuilding my gold stacks so I don't have to borrow again hopefully.

150 cave crawlers were easy, but it wasn't really a money making task. fast kills, low xp, decent herbs.

Lately..

Haven't done much lately to blog anything..but to make sure you guys think I am alive..

I'm just randomly leveling slayer. Did a couple tasks - Fire Giants, Greater Demons and Banshees. Nothing really exciting from killing these. Only thing about banshees...they eat up a lot of food.

Ardrougne Tasks...

So today I spent most of my time completing all the Medium Tasks for Ardrougne. The reward was nice..
An upgraded cape for a +4 to stab attack/defence, a magic attack/defence, and prayer bonus when worn. Also, got a 7500 XP lamp which I used on Agility.

Completed a slayer task of 131 Greater Demons too. Got 2 clue scrolls. The first Treasure Trail reward I got was an Ancient Cape and some black dragonhide armor.

Quests.. and Slayer

So this morning once I woke up, I decided to do a quest, Kennith Concerns. This was a frigging annoying quest as the puzzle/maze part was annoying! Everytime a civilian caught you, he kicked you out of the maze and you would have to start that section over again. Besides the maze part, no real complications. For some reason I can't get into this story/quest sequence yet, but never the less, it is quest points and some rewards.
Note..if you click anywhere on the screen with the cut scene..it restarts...what an annoying way to end the quest..

Now I am doing a slayer task - 151 Fire Giants.

Salt in the Wound was the final quest in the Slug sequence/story. This was probably the more fun quests (even though it was annoying). It was pretty much like a dungeoneering level built into the quest. The other cool part was I got to control the other adventurers (NPCs). They were kind of weak (a mage, ranger, and warrior), and had to redo a floor a couple times as they kept dying >_<. I was not allowed to use my own character for that specific floor. The disappointing part was they incorporated a final puzzle to kill the boss, rather than me killing it. Regardless, nice story... and 2 Quest Points. Also, a dungeoneering level, 51, which is always nice.

During one of my goblin quests yesterday, I got alevel 1 clue from killing a HAM guard. So I just completed it and got a decent reward for a level 1 clue. 2 Purple Sweets and an Amulet of Magic..in total yielded 20k. Pretty decent for a level 1 clue.

Did some agility also..got my level which now brought it to level 66. The Aura for agility really helps as I can get around 14-15k for the 20 minutes of aura time without fail at Ape Atoll.

After playing in the knight's pockets, I ended up getting a thieving level to increase it to level 66 as well.

I just remembered to clear all my remaining farming patches I grew from the bonus XP weekend, so I was able to obtain another farming level, 66, tonight as well. :)

Well, after a long day of Runescape, time to call it a night.

More Quests..

Just finished The Chosen Commander!! I got home from work and right away began preparing for this quest. This was one of those quests, as stated before, that I enjoyed the series so much. This final installment did not disappoint! It was cool that I was able to control a goblin (Zanik) as supposed to my own character for a few minutes (which led to lots of cutscenes). The bosses at the end were fun (nothing too hard) and at the end the cut scene summarized all the chapters from quest #1 of the HAM/Goblin series. I didn't check before the quest, but I got 3 Quest Points for completing. (This quest was pretty long...about 1.5 hours - 2hours, but it was worth it).

Also just did Glories Memories. This quest was long as well and was part of the Fremennik Quest series. The boss was easy to kill as well and the story was pretty cool. It incorporated other previous quests that I did and brought the story together (Mountain daughter, Royal trouble, and Throne of Miscellania). The ending cut scene was bit of a comedy relief, but all in all, good quest.

The Slug Menace was a decent quest. Long and annoying..Abyss for runecraft part made it easier and shorter as to running to 5 different altars. After completing, this completed the Temple Knights Series of quests. 1 Quest Point and some various experience.

I changed the background a bit for the ease on eyes when reading the blogs. If you like the previous, I can switch it back.

Quests...

Completed..

- Hunt for Red Raktuber...fairly easy quest - took a bit long, but all in all fun quest. Reward was average, but 2 QP was good. This completed the Penguin saga I believe, but there seems to be a few quests lingering (perhaps I over looked them, or they haven't been released). This was one of my enjoyable quest series as well as the Goblin one, which will be talked below. For starters, what happens to Larry and how does the adventurer save him.

- Spirit of the Elid was fun and easy. The only annoying part was from my own stupidity (I forgot the rope a couple times as well as a knife). For those that do the quest in the future, there is a bank there, and don't have to worry about bringing everything at once (You also don't need to complete the quest to use the bank).

- King's Ransom was easy also. Just a bit of walking around but all good. The concept of a court case and the side screens with the clips were cool, and the fact that you can interact in a cut scene with the judge, witness, and defendents was pretty cool. A quest point for my efforts and small XP amounts. I completed the knight mini-game after and killed the knights with somewhat ease. I got two new prayer skills to use..Chivalry and Piety.

-Last quest of the night I did was The Land of Goblins. For some reason, I always tend to like this series (Troll ones also), as they leave a nice story behind. The complexity of this quest was indeed more for t he advanced quester, but nothing really too hard. If you like to prepare in advance like myself, then there's no real confusion or difficulty. Upon completion, the exp was low again, and only a quest point, but the ending was excellent. Tomorrow I will complete the goblin saga with the last quest, the chosen commander.

Completed Quests

Hi All,

So I completed another quest this evening: A Tail of Two Cats. Very nice and easy quest. The only hard and tedious part was finding Bob the cat. There was 20 different known locations and it was hard to find. But once found, the quest was fast. Also I planted the potatoes last night before i slept so when I got home they grew right away. I was lucky that I didn't need to find Bob again in a different location (that would have sucked).
The main thing was I got the 2 quest points and the 2 lamps gave 2.5k each, which I put into farming.

Another quest bites the dust - Defender of Varrock: which was another fun quest. The story was very interesting and the complexity of the quest was a bit advanced (but not as complex as Recipe for Disaster). I was very impressed with this quest and upon completing, I gained a bunch of experience in various skills, 5 kudos in the Varrock Museum, and 2 Quest Points.

Final quest for tonight is no matched for Mike.. Cold War.. It was a fun quest as well. The fact I got to walk and urn around in a penguin suit for half of it was awesome. Some parts were annoying but all in all, decent quest. It is a stepping stone for more of the advance quests, but this was definately one I would recommend. Also, the agility course wasn't as bad as I initially thought it would be. Very easy except for the last part (climbing ice).

Tai Bai Wanna Trio..

Just finished this quest after a while of it being started. Now I remember why I didn't do it before.. there was a lot of running! Thank goodness for fairy rings as they made travelling a hundred times better. Also, for those that use quest guides, USE them, I tried to guess a few steps and I ended up  having to by a couple things over again which made me take longer to complete this quest.

The reward was 2 Quest points and a few coins.

- 65 Agility
- 58 hunter

I was able to finally break the 2000 Total Level milestone also!

Right now, my total level sits at 2005.

Bonus Weekend: Day 1

Right off the bat, I was able to go from level 61 to 63 farming within the first 30 minutes of the bonus weekend. What I did was grow a bunch of crops overnight and harvested them all once I got home from work.

I then moved on to agility. I had an agility Aura so I used that at Ape Atoll Agility course and got a level. (level 63). I continued to stay after it had no more aura and needed to charge, but only until I got another level. (level 64).

After, I moved to Ardrougne and leveled some thieving. After another hour of thieving, I was able to get 2 level, which got me to 65.

.. Quests. - Farming also

Got a farming level - now at level 60.

Will be starting the quest - Back to my roots..

So I started this quest with the help of Rune Wiki. Just completed the first step of the quest and it was easy. The only tedious part was teleporting to Edgeville then running to Barbarian village to make a pot lid.

Second step was just talking to Garth in Brimhaven (hopped on the boat and walked a bit to his farming patch). Nothing really was hard on this step. Now to do the next step...the Maze.

Ok, so the maze was fairly easy as my agility was high enough ( I didn't fail any obstacles). The monsters were somewhat aggressive, but not too much damage was taken and I only needed 1 shark to heal damage to myself. The end part with the seed planting in the pot was the time consuming (10 minutes or so)  as I had to try a few times to dig the soil, cut root, put in pot. Once it was completed, I teleported back to Ardrougne.

The boss was fairly easy. Black dragon hide armor, barrow gloves, rune hatchet and a bandos godsword special killed it fast. The hatchet was the main weapon as that was the only thing that could hit it. (If I knew this, I would have used my dragon hatchet. Regardless, quest was completed and I got a farming level (61) and a slayer level (83).

Spirit of Summer was a good quest..pretty tired so not gonna blog details. Got 17k farming xp from completing though.

- Update: Sorry for my mood tonight. I been dealing with a lot of stuff in real life including personal and work related issues. With the upcoming XP bonus weekend, here is my goals:

- 1 or 2 farming levels (got most of my goals done tonight with quests and trees)
- 2 thieving levels (for 65 thieving)
- 3 Agility Levels (for 65 agility)
- 3 Hunting levels (for 60 hunting)

This will total to 9 levels to potentially level... My total level will then be 2000! Tune in this weekend to see if this is obtainable..

Slow day..

On Runescape today, I did a bit of slayer and farming.

Did a couple tasks - 90 Elves and (The other I forgot)!

Last night I did finish my task of 93 Jadinkos. That was a fun first time..ranging them took a while to kill, but decent ranging experience.

Elves were annoying, only cause I was there for a while and some level 108 brat came along and started killing elves with me. The spot only had 2 elves, which meant only one person would be able to train properly. I ended up changing worlds after threatening him that I reported him (but I didn't). Apparently, Australians are in bed or something cause the world was pretty dead at 7 pm EST.

I also got a clue scroll and upon completion got a Gold Trimmed Rune Full Helm which I ended up selling. I also sold my Zamorak Page 3 (which Mune pointed out I didn't mention yesterday) for a well below market price..but hey, it was free somewhat to begin with.

Along with the random farming, not much on Runescape. (Spotted a penguin and got another 1425 XP into Farming).

That completes today.

Also leveled my range while doing a task as well.

Slayer...

Hey all,

All I did today was level slayer.

Finished up my task from last night, which was 171 Aqualites. That was hard and had to bank a few times.

Then I got 90 Jungle Strykewryms, and surprisingly enough did not get any clue scrolls.

After I just finished my task of 131 Basilisks. All easy but in combination of the latter 2 tasks, only about 18k slayer exp.

Got my new task of 141 greater demons but got side tracked with 2 level 3 clue scrolls. first reward sucked .. with rune crossbow bolts, a rune battleaxe, and some coins.

Just did my second clue scroll..rewards was quite bad again. Rune longsword, Rune dagger, blood runes, some lobsters, and Meerkat pouches. ._.

With about 100 greaters left to kill tomorrow.

Crafting level + slayer tasks

Hey All!

Got a crafting level last night and finished my task of Desert Strykewyrns.

My new task is to slay 131 Fire Giants.

Thursday, September 1, 2011

Hey all,

To summarize my Runescape day, got a couple herblore levels, which got me to my goal of 75. Ended up costing me a net of about 4 million (after reselling the potions I made).

Got a magic level, which brought it up to 80.

And now I think I will get a crafting level, to bring it up to 71 before I sleep. My total level should be about 1987 by the time I go to bed.

See ya tomorrow.
Mike
